Sometimes classes do not last the full 26 minutes. Here’s what to do if a student arrives late or leaves early.
Waiting for late students
- Students can join up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start.
- Keep the class open and wait. If they join close to the cutoff, call them immediately without waiting for a message from them so the class is not marked as Student Absent.
Conducting a shortened class
- If the class lasts 15 minutes or more, evaluate as usual. Focus on the key points so you can complete the evaluation fairly.
- If the class lasts less than 15 minutes, do not evaluate. Instead, report it (see: What to Do if the Class Lasts Less than 26 Minutes).
Explaining to the student
- If a student arrives late, politely let them know the class will be shorter.
- If they have concerns, direct them to support@twenix.es (student support).
Manage your timing
- Always endeavour to end on time, especially if you have back-to-back classes, so you are ready for your next lesson.
