All class times on Twenix are displayed in your device’s local time zone. Keep your device settings accurate to avoid missing classes.
How time works on Twenix
-
- Automatic sync: Class times always match your device’s local time. No manual calculations needed.
- Check your device settings: Ensure your timezone is set correctly in your system preferences.
- Travelling: Turn on automatic timezone updates when abroad so your schedule adjusts correctly.
⚠️ Important
We recommend that you do not manually change your device’s timezone. Always use automatic settings. Manual changes may cause incorrect class times and lead to missed bookings.
If you do change timezones, always be extra careful to check that your classes list times are displaying the right time!
Examples of time differences
Most Twenix students are based in Spain and Italy (Central European Time).
If you are living or travelling abroad, your class times will automatically adjust to your device’s local time. Here are some typical examples (these may vary slightly depending on daylight saving changes):
Mexico City: usually 7 to 8 hours behind Spain.
New York: usually 5 to 6 hours behind Spain.
Johannesburg: usually the same time as Spain in winter, and 1 hour ahead when Spain switches to summer time.
Manila: usually 6 to 7 hours ahead of Spain.
Sydney: usually 8 to 10 hours ahead of Spain, depending on the time of year.
For example, if a class is scheduled at 10:00 in Spain and you are in Mexico City, it may appear at 02:00 or 03:00 on your device.
Please note that time differences can change when countries switch between winter and summer time.
Because class times automatically sync to your device’s local time, it is essential that your timezone settings remain accurate, especially when travelling.
