What do I need to do if the class lasts less than 26 minutes?

Sometimes a class may be shorter than 26 minutes. This can happen if:

• The student arrives late
• The student needs to leave early
• There are technical issues

👉 Important: Classes must last at least 15 minutes to be evaluated normally.

If the class lasted 15 minutes or more before ending

• Evaluate the class as usual.
• Do not report and end it unless there was another issue.
• If you end and report it instead of evaluating, the student will have to repeat the same material in their next class.

If the class lasted less than 15 minutes before ending

• Do not evaluate. Evaluations without a class lasting long enough prevent students from retaking missed material in their microcourse.
• Instead, report the class:
  1. Click the menu button at the bottom right of the classroom.
  2. Click "Report an issue"
  3. Select “End the class.”
  4. Explain the issue in detail and submit.
  5. This will close the session, and allow the team to check and assign the correct status.

If the student arrives late

• Politely remind the student that because of the late start, the class may be shorter than usual.
• Try to keep the class going until the normal end time, aiming for the 26-minute target.
• Do not extend the class beyond the scheduled slot.
