At Twenix, we're incredibly excited to welcome passionate educators to our team. Our application process is designed to be straightforward and supportive, guiding you towards success on the platform.
Below, you will find answers to common questions about the process and about working with us.
What is Twenix looking for in the video tasks?
Twenix is committed to finding the best teaching talent, and your video tasks help us see your skills in action. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Attention to Detail: Following all instructions carefully, including audio and video quality, video length, and teaching in a tidy, distraction-free environment.
- Engagement and Delivery: A warm, confident, and engaging style that helps the class flow naturally.
- Lesson Structuring: Effective review of past lessons and smooth transitions to new material.
- Questioning Abilities: Asking thoughtful questions that encourage student participation and natural conversation.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Giving accurate corrections, constructive feedback and effective performance summaries.
I'm having trouble uploading my video tasks. What can I do?
If you are having issues uploading your video tasks, please try the following:
- Wait for the video thumbnails to fully load before clicking "send."
- If your file is too large, use a video compression tool (a link should be provided in the instructions).
- Ensure that your video doesn't exceed the maximum length limit stated in the guidelines.
If you still experience difficulties after these steps, please reach out to us so we can assist further.
I don't think I'll submit my video tasks within 7 days. What can I do?
While it is true that the faster you submit your videos, the faster we'll make a decision regarding your application, the link for submitting your videos will stay active after 7 days and beyond.
Submitting sooner may speed up your application, but late submissions are always accepted and will be processed as normal.
Can I have an interview call instead of doing video tasks?
No, we do not offer interview calls at this stage of the process. All applicants are asked to complete similar video tasks, which simulate a real online teaching environment and allow us to fairly assess teaching skills in a consistent way.
Our team carefully reviews each video submission and will contact you with the next steps once your review is complete.
Can I submit my video tasks via email?
No. Video tasks must be submitted through the application link. This ensures that all applications are reviewed in the same way and helps us manage the high number we receive.
Submissions sent by email cannot be reviewed, so please use the link provided in your application. If you have any technical issues, let us know and we will help!
Who are Twenix students?
Most of our students are adult professionals, mainly based in Spain and Italy. Our class topics are designed with them in mind, so you will always have relevant and engaging material to work with!
Is there a minimum number of classes I have to do?
In general, all that we ask is that teachers complete a minimum of 20 classes in any 3 month period.
If you plan to be inactive for a while, let us know in advance so we can take it into account.
What platform does Twenix use for classes?
All Twenix classes take place on our own platform, which is browser-based and built specifically for online learning. You do not need to install any additional software, except for Google Chrome if you are not already using it. Before you begin teaching, you will be shown how to use the classroom and its features.
