Golden Rules
- Always use the latest version of Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop.
- If problems continue, try another device (computer or mobile).
- Run the Call Settings Test before each class.
- If you cannot complete a class for at least 15 minutes, never evaluate it — report it instead.
- Transfer classes and close your slots if you’re not sure you can teach.
- Send screenshots (or a short recording) when sending us a message about an issue.
1. If the platform is not working
Check these first:
- Use the latest version of Google Chrome.
- Allow camera and microphone permissions in Chrome.
- Make sure your internet is stable (wired recommended).
- Close unnecessary programs and tabs.
- Turn off VPNs, ad blockers, or antivirus that might interfere.
- Update your system and drivers.
If it still does not work:
- Restart Chrome and reopen Twenix in a new window.
- Clear your cache and cookies.
- Restart your computer.
- Try another device (computer or mobile) to see if the issue is specific to your setup.
👉 If problems continue, transfer your upcoming classes and close your slots until resolved.
👉 Contact support with screenshots showing the problem.
2. Minimum requirements
Always teach with:
- Desktop or laptop computer (mobiles/tablets are not supported for teaching).
- Google Chrome latest version.
- Internet speed of at least 4 Mbps upload & download.
- Reliable camera, microphone, and headset.
- Wired internet strongly recommended.
- Backup device and hotspot ready.
- Run the Call Settings Test before each class.
3. Technical issues during class
- If you or the student cannot complete a class for 15 minutes or more, report the class and select “End the Class” when you submit.
- This lets the team check the class and assign the correct status (See also: What classes will I be paid for?)
- Send screenshots of any error messages or connection issues if possible.
- Repeated issues on the teacher’s side or misuse of the reporting tool may lead to deactivation.
4. Frequent technical issues
Prevent many problems by:
- Using a stable connection and avoiding others using the same network during class.
- Testing and updating your device and browser 30 minutes before your first class each day.
- Avoiding opening other apps or tabs while teaching.
- Ensuring your device’s time settings update automatically for time zones and daylight savings.
- Restarting your router from time to time.
5. Error messages
Error 504 / platform not loading:
- Check your internet connection.
- Clear cookies.
- Restart Chrome.
- Restart your computer.
- Try another device if the issue continues.
Other error codes:
- Try the same steps above.
- If the problem continues, contact support with screenshots of the error.
6. Extra tips
- Transfer classes if you notice tech issues before they start.
- Never evaluate a class that did not take place — always report it.
- Restart your router regularly for better stability.
