Welcome to the classroom! Let's have a quick look around. 👓
If you are having trouble entering the classroom, check the following:
- Ensure the class starts in 10 minutes or less. Before this time, the class entry button will not be activated.
- If you can't see the class entry button, make sure your browser window is zoomed out enough to view it.
- Check this article to ensure your setup is optimised.
- If you still have problems, contact us via the chat bot or support-teacher@twenix.es
As soon as you enter any classroom, please complete these two steps:
-
Double check the date and time to ensure you're in the right classroom.
There's nothing worse than entering the wrong classroom, waiting and thinking your student is absent, only to find out that you were the one receiving a Teacher Absent in the classroom you were supposed to be in 😔
-
Before the call starts, run the call-settings test.
You are only able to run the configuration test before the call starts, and we recommend that you do so each and every class. If there are any technical issues during your class, the Support team will know they were not on your side if you have completed the configuration test.
Once you have completed the above steps, if your student hasn't yet arrived, you can send a welcome message in the chat. Your student will see this when they enter the classroom and will know that you are present and ready to go.
As soon as the call button turns from gray to green, this means that your student has entered the classroom. You will also see a message in the chat saying that your student has entered. Please click on the green call button to start the call.
Sending corrections 📋
Type your correction, then select the proper category before sending.
Corrections should appear in the chat with a colorful background, which means they will be saved in the student's Timeline for the student and their future Tweachers to review later. Normal messages sent without a category selected will not be saved in their timeline.
Technical difficulties 🤖
Should you experience any technical issues during your class, the first thing you should do is revise your equipment and connection and refresh your browser. You can also refresh your student's browser manually from the "+" menu. Do your best to work through the issue with your student, using the chat to communicate with them if necessary.

Evaluating your student ⭐
Once your class is about halfway through, you can start evaluating how your student has done on the lesson objective and skills by clicking on the "evaluate during the class" button. Remember, 3 stars is the benchmark here and means the student is performing as expected within their given level. Please remember classes must last for at least 26 minutes, after which time you can hang up the call and complete and send your evaluation.
