You may occasionally see a "Complete Beginner" label displayed in the classroom for a student.
What does the label mean?
The "Complete Beginner" label indicates that the student declared themselves a complete beginner during onboarding.
Rather than completing a Hello Twenix assessment class, these students choose to begin directly at the starting level for their language.
When will I see this label?
The label may appear during a student's first regular class to help you understand their starting point and adapt your approach accordingly.
What should I expect?
Students with the "Complete Beginner" label may have very limited knowledge of the language or may be learning it for the first time.
As with all students, we recommend adapting your communication to the learner's needs and current ability level. You may find it helpful to:
• Speak clearly and at an appropriate pace.
• Use simple language where necessary.
• Check understanding regularly.
• Encourage participation and build confidence throughout the class.
